How long will it take for a sound SOS signal emitted from the inner side of an accretion disk to reach an outside observer on the outer side of an accretion disk and what will the change in frequency be?

Abstract or project description

If a person or a spacecraft was trapped in the accretion disk of a black hole and was moving towards the event horizon, we want to determine the type of signal they would be able to send to someone or something that is not moving towards danger. For the purposes of this research, we will be using sound as it is the most compatible with the nuances of a black hole. We will simulate an SOS signal emitted from the inside of an accretion disk of a black hole which will be transmitted as a sound signal to the outer side of the accretion disk. This will be done using Python and the findings will be presented using MatPlotLib. We predict the frequency to decrease and take longer to reach the outer accretion disk as the disk gets wider, the distance between the two endpoints gets longer, and the black hole’s mass gets larger.
