Hello! My name is Sierra Love, and I hold a PhD in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I studied pre-mRNA splicing and how it can relate to disease. I am currently a senior scientist at a biotech company. Outside of lab, I enjoy hanging with friends doing outdoor activities such as ice-skating, rollerblading, swimming, nature walks, paddle boarding etc.I love just vibing out and listening to music. My favorite genre is RnB. I have a passion for biology and teaching and would love to mentor students in those areas.

Understanding the Central Dogma: From DNA to Organisms

This project will allow you to dive into the intricacies of how your genes make up who you are. The focus of this project is to gain an understanding of the basics of cellular biology. In the end you will be able to write a short research article on the things you've learned about the Central Dogma.
