Bio
Hello! I am a doctor training as a surgical resident at Duke. I studied engineering at Columbia and medicine at Stanford. I have a background in biomedical engineering and physics. Much of my research has focused on developing medical technologies for pediatric populations. I have built several assistive devices for children with cerebral palsy, including exoskeletons, wearable sensors, and virtual reality environments. I am passionate about building electronics, writing code, and working with patients. In my free time, I like to walk dogs & play Runescape.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Motivational Push Notifications
Push Notifications & reminder systems have been shown to modify individual behavior and motivate change. By designing your push notification system, you could address problems that exist in a wide variety of issues, including medication adherence, daily activity modification, and mental health.
